InfoMaster wins the Department of Main Roads Queensland Asset Management Tender

The Department of Main Roads Queensland has the responsibility for providing an efficient and safe road network throughout the sunshine state. The department embraces technology to ensure a road system that will serve the people of Queensland well into the future. Core to their strategy is collaborating with stakeholders and suppliers as well as communicating with the people whose safety is vitally important. The department manages Queensland’s largest built community asset and has chosen the InfoMaster asset management suite, AssetMaster, to better maintain its Intelligent Transport System (ITS) and electrical assets.
The department sought the delivery of a scalable, proven application that could deliver a comprehensive view of their various asset types across the enterprise. Accurate information was needed on numbers, condition and location of assets. Scheduling of inspections and a facility to record detailed data on the condition of assets was a requirement. The application needed the ability to generate work orders or contractor requests and record progress through to completion. Paramount to achieving the overall reduction in costs required by the department was the operational and strategic management monitoring functionality of AssetMaster – a key feature of the software.
The AssetMaster solution provides the department with a lifecycle approach for their assets and records all details from delivery and deployment through to retirement and disposal. InfoMaster provided compelling customer references and could demonstrate key functionality that met all of the customers’ requirements during the evaluation and ultimate selection period.
Queensland Main Roads is a significant win for InfoMaster as it paves the way for future sales growth in the state government sector. InfoMaster has established itself as a key software vendor in Local Government with both asset management and electronic development assessment (eDA) solutions.
